I, Marquis Geraldine Queen (he/they), I’m a queer Black fiction writer and editor. I founded Acquainted Muse to give authors the most overlooked ingredient needed for success: companionship.

I work to bring out the best in each writer and their manuscript by tapping into the unique strengths of their story with a personalized plan. I know how difficult it can be to make time to write and how hard it is to polish your manuscript. I also understand how hard writing is to do without sustained, intentional support.
